One decent game against Bolivia doesn't necessarily mean he's ready for the first team. He's still a young lad, had a decent season on loan at Bolton last year and would probably benefit from going back there for another 12 months.

Was just offering a different opinion.

The first bit of your response, yeah.

All I was suggesting, as Ramjam has also stated, was that he tried to cut inside a few times and kind of awkwardly steadies himself before a cross. In the end it's a good assist, but it looked like he wanted to cut inside and that he might be right footed.

Heís left footed. I think he was just playing a dummy to create the yard of space for the cross, wasnít he?

Played well against Bolivia, I could probably do the same to be honest, lets not overhype the lad just yet.

US plays Ireland and France in their next two matches this week which will be the real test to see how he can hold up.

Yeah, though as @Jimmywhack mentioned, we have been playing him at CB.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

Never seen him play but have read a few times that he lacks pace, is that right?
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

When did he become American

His dad is a U.S.-born American citizen, so he qualified as an American citizen at birth despite being born abroad.

Yeah, based on my viewing of the U.S. match, he seems pretty fast. Used his recovery speed to great effect when making up for one or two lapses in concentration.
