Could see it posted anywhere else, but there are a few sites saying Bayern are looking at Pickford due to Neuer injury concerns

Bayern Munich will send scouts to the World Cup to watch England No.1 Jordan Pickford as doubts grow over Manuel Neuer, according to reports.

The Everton shot-stopper will be Gareth Southgate’s first-choice keeper at Russia, edging out Jack Butland and Nick Pope.

According to The Sun on Sunday, his performances in the Premier League have not just been recognised at international level.

Bayern have sent scouts to England before to watch the former Sunderland star, as doubts grow over current first-choice keeper Manuel Neuer.

The German international, who has travelled to Russia with Joachim Low’s squad, has not featured for the Bundesliga champions for eight months because of a foot injury.

As a result, the 24-year-old has emerged as a surprise target for the German outfit.

The Toffees will be loath to lose their star man, especially since they only signed him from the Black Cats last summer.

If a deal was to be even considered, the club would want to double their money quickly on Pickford so as to give  new boss Marco Silva time and money to find a suitable replacement.

Plenty of excellent keepers in Germany. They'll just cannibalise one of their rivals, as usual.

They must be kicking themselves for not signing Hradecky. He was the best keeper in the Bundesliga and just moved to Leverkusen.

Bayern seem to have a history of bullying rivals to buy cheap. I can’t imagine them spending 50m on a young keeper

As if we'd let Jordan go. Bayern or not. ???

Everton won't have much choice. If a champions league team comes knocking with large salary increase and a decent fee. Difficult to say no and if his head's turned will be difficult to keep him. I don't know what salaries are like in Germany.

He’s got four years on his contract and we don’t need to sell.

We’ll keep him

I'd consider a straight swap deal with Neuer, at a push.

He’s as near as we’ve got to one.

This is true. I can't think of any other player we have as close to being top quality.
