Dean Windass- "Dimyoo Biliamdee with a goal as good as you'll see all day"

Arrogant twat. Most people learned to pronounce his name within a month.

That jokes been going on for far, far too long. Even Paul Merson did alright with it before :snigger:

Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

We're never gonna get anywhere if we can accept getting beat by no mark clubs aslong as we beat clubs we should still be challenging against.

Here, here!
"Sunday Bloody Sunday. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!"- Alan Partridge

but would you have expected 4 pts against chelsea 3 v man u 6 v man city..... all ifs and buts

Irrelevant. We earned those points and then threw them away against opposition we should have beaten.

It makes it even harder to swallow. West Ham, Stoke & Wolves twice each to name but a few would have got us 4th easily.

A season of wasted opportunity. Even considering the horrendous start, we could have been right up there.
