On derby day I will do my usual withdrawal from all communications until after the final whistle. Then I ask my wife what the score was and take it from there. That usually means avoiding all media sources until the following Tuesday, by which time the result will be history and can't hurt me so much. If it goes the other way, which has not happened for several long years, I will have to try and remember how to celebrate a draw or win at Anfield. The memory, like a few other faculties, has sadly faded.

Outvat a Christmas meal next Sunday lunchtime. Don't know whether to relieved or gutted

Got up this morning. 10th in the league, back to back wins, a new manager and signs of things getting sorted. That first cup of tea tastes like Sunday morning.  ;D

7 points off Spurs in 6th hey. I genuinely wonder if Sam was able to negotiate a staying up bonus in his contract.

The easiest legit money he’s ever going to make.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Re the cash aspect you have to trust your DoF to help ensure that players are useful beyond the current manager (both in skill set and age). Or at least a balance.

He’s a much more tactical manager than he’s given credit for, I believe Moshiri will trust him with money straight away in January.

He’ll know what players are needed to play the style want and it’ll likely be a situation like with Pellegrini at City where he’ll be setting us up for someone new.

There was a Huddersfield fan near us who kept shouting "play up Town" so me and my mate had a bit of a competition to see who could shout "girl" the quickest
