Hate the way there’s always a massive flap at this stage of the season when we lose a league game, almost always more so after a decent start, and this almost perennial result too.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's hardly like we're going to win 50 games a season. I think it's just because we've seen it all before and inevitably there's going to be a slide coming if the past is anything to go by. It feels like nothing really changes for Everton and that's because we're just different shades of disappointment most seasons.

Genuinely canít believe the amount of not arsed shouts. Iím gutted.

Give me a league cup over ďtop 8Ē
Any day of the week

It's just pragmatism, the side we put out was Championship standard to at best lower level PL level. The net spend of that side we started until Doucoure came on was next to nothing.

We're just not ready as a club to compete yet.

Either Rondon is not up to speed, or I hope Rondon is not up to speed.

Pretty anonymous so far. One of the more disappointing aspects of the team tonight.

Heís a very average 32 year old striker who has played in Russia and China for the last two years, itíll be hard to get up to the pace of the league quick/of at all.

Not sure him being a starter was ever supposed to happen just a lump to come off the bench to give DCL a break.

It is what it is.

We're not going to be level on points with City (who have made a poor start) by Xmas, that's for sure.

There is no need for any meltdowns though, it is what it is.
No need for any meltdowns? We just lost to a team a league below us we played shite our back up keeper just doesn't cut it we are piss poor a shower of shit and another season of mediocrity at best awaits us when is it time for meltdowns?

I hate to say it but I doubt we're beating Norwich with that team. We really need a couple back, and quick

Didn't we play near enough our strongest side?

Nah, gray, Doucoure and Allan make a huge difference

What I never understand in this comp, why don't managers ever do it the other way around with squads.

Start with your best side and then get the game won, then rest players.

Didnít we play near enough our strongest side?

Would've been nice to have a run in this, but not that arsed really. Godfrey and Holgate is an accident waiting to happen at CB. Some mad shouts as per after any defeat, people having meltdowns need to get a grip.

Level on points with City in 6th after a decent start, lets see where we are at Xmas before judging Rafa or our season.
