Raiola says " there are no problems RIGHT NOW " of course not, nobody has made a better offer yet !
Will there still be no problems if Chelsea make an offer or Man City offer 200k a week, still no problems ?

although he also says "he will sign", which seems a pretty definate statement.
needs to get done asap, though, not wait until end of season

He said "he will sign, 99.9 % done deal" before Christmas, 8 weeks to finalise that remaining 0.01% ?
Really ?

Maybe something changed? None of us get to sit in on these meetings so why would we speculate on it.

if he does sign its a good indication where we are headed, he would want assurances about signings etc

Ronald Koeman insists he does not know anything about claims from Romelu Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola that the striker will sign a new Everton contract, but he says he would be delighted if that was the case.

“I didn’t speak to the board about Romelu. If his agent says he likes to stay and is close to signing a deal then that is perfect for Everton.

“Normally players, if they really see a future in a club, they see the team improving, the team is getting stronger every day, then that is always a plus for players to stay.

“We know everybody has his own ambition, that is normal, that’s a human being, and we like to keep the good players and he is one of them.”

Maybe they were waiting to see how our form went; if we continued to struggle he may have decided to move on. Now we are seemingly recovering and could push for Top 5, he may be more keen to re-sign.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.
