Can't think why anyone would want Leeds back.

I'll be happy for Brighton to come up.

Don't want Leeds to come up at all. Would be good to see Sheff Weds back up though.

My best mate at work is a Leeds fan. In the Championship almost all their games are televised, and I feel obliged to watch them so that we can talk about it on Monday.

So if they got promoted, I wouldn't have to watch them so many times. :)

A friend of mine is an avid Rochdale fan.
When Brighton were in Div 2 they came to Rochdale on the brink of liquidation and their fans carried buckets to collect money.
He said he felt so sorry for them that he chucked a fiver in. They survived with the fans' help and are now nearly part of the millionaires club.
He's thinking of writing to them to ask for his fiver back.

Just to point out how fortunes can change.

Newcastle will definitely be back and they should be able to stay out of the relegation fight next season given their resources.

I'm impressed with how well Brighton have built their squad and I really hope they win the title. Knockaert, one of Walsh's best finds for Leicester, is a top player in the Championship and deserves a proper crack at the PL. Also, I still have a soft spot for Shane Duffy. I always thought he'd be PL quality (albeit at the lower end of the table) and it looks like he's going to make it back at a young enough age where he can still carve out a top-flight career for himself.

I don't have any strong feelings about the rest. I'm hoping Brentford make a proper promotion push at some point in the near future. They're one of the most analytically savvy clubs in all of Europe (https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/2015/05/15/soccer-analytics-brentford-midtjylland-matthew-benham) and their GD suggests that they're not far off the level of Huddersfield/Reading/Wednesday even if there's a major gap in terms of points.

Huddersfield are currently 1-0 up at Derby which will take them within 5 points with a game in hand whilst Newcastle have won 2 of their last 8.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Newcastle don't get promoted and Chris Houghton brings Brighton up as champions.

It would be great if Newcastle somehow messed things up.

They won't though. Anything can happen in the playoffs but Huddersfield and Reading aren't good enough to catch them for the second automatic spot regardless of recent form.
