It feels like fans are calling for Garbutt to make the first team squad solely on us seeing him put in a couple of decent crosses 4 years ago and Martina being a bit shit.

Worries me that he's not managed to convince anyone working at the club who sees him every day.
An actual left foot and the board seemingly ignoring the issue at left back has a great deal to do with it too imho ..also Coco is at best shit ....even on his best day ...yeah he's not a left back but to half of us he doesn't even look like a footballer ffs.

some might watch a bit more than the 1st team on here he has been doing ok in the under 23,s this year

its just like watching Baines all over again lol

no really his attacking will be a lot better than coco on that side but time will only tell about the defending

The anti-Cuco brigade are out again. Has he been really that bad? I think not, although that is a long way from saying he is our answer to left back. All a matter of opinion of course.

He's been fine. Pretty good recently. The only issue for me is that playing on the wrong side is hindering our attacks. Be amazed if garbutt is better given that he's struggled to get a game on loan

I'm wrong then. Seen a couple of people post on here that he'd not got games on loan and took it as gospel

Starting 19 games, playing 24, in a 46 game season at Fulham isn't exactly a great record though is it.

8 games in a 4 and a half month loan st Wigan suggests he sat out quite a few there too.

He didn't play either because of fitness or because he wasn't good enough. Neither of which suggests we could rely on him.

No but he is on his wrong foot and like many have said given the pace of the game he slows it right down . He has also been made to look better by Gylfis defending which as the games have mounted up he has had to do more and more of and that has effected us going forward . Its not just him who needs replacing though as Baines is a spent force . Not sure if Garbutts chance has been and gone and he failed to take it .

big song and dance to get him to sign a new deal then fucked him out on loan to play a center back in his spot I would be pissed of with that as well
