Sounds fairly positive

David Unsworth has given the following injury update:

"Ross [Barkley] is back in the gym.

"Seamus [Coleman] was away with Ireland and did some work over there and is progressing nicely.

"Yannick [Bolasie] has started training - he has had a couple of sessions with our U23 group

Can you imagine the difference when we have them 3 back in the team

Front line of Barkley, Rooney, Sigurdsson, Klaassen, Vlasic.

Too unbalanced, it's lacking a playmaker

All three bring direct powerful running which we need desperately. Ross probably doesn't do that enough but still at least brings it as a threat which almost none of our current players do.

Hopefully Bolasie and Coleman can get back to the same level they were at before within the next 2-3 months. It will take time though and no guarantees that either ever get there.

Seamus is the big one for me. The game after his injury, our whole attacking threat just seemed to disappear, and it's been that way since.

Coleman away with Ireland? Keane and O'Neill are really taking the piss now.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

You would imagine Coleman being away with Ireland was merely for help and support for the team in a crucial game, not training.  Isn't Coleman their captain?

Three new players for Rooney to drop back and take the ball from.
