Thoughts on this article? I certainly agree that this Allardyce's biggest job so far (at least at the Club level), and that we are significantly more talented than the teams Allardyce usually takes over for. But is Carragher's assessment of the Everton supporters' mentality and expectations accurate? I think he is certainly correct that we will be fuming if Allardyce stops playing Kenny, Lookman, Vlasic, Holgate, Davies, DCL, and Baningime. Obviously they don't all need to be starting every match, but they need to be in and around the team going forward.

Reckon thatís mostly a fair and true article.

In my opinion heís the best pundit around now.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

He was right about Barkley. He was right about our summer transfers and he is right about this.

It's fair and all.

But I don't see how he's a good pundit for saying something that has been said for 3+ weeks now.

He's basically copying and pasting this forum and Twitter from the last 3 weeks.

Overrated footballer. Overrated pundit.

The article itself is fine but Carragher never misses a chance to put us down on Sky. Not as bad as Thomposon though.

Damn, that is a good article.

How annoying to admit. 😊

My mate used to ghost write for him in another Tory rag.

He's a real Labour man (both my mate and Carragher) so it is a bit odd that he writes in such publications.

My mate said he is a really lovely fella, although he is a RS himself, so I took his assessment with a large pinch of salt ;)

Anyway, yeah it is a spot-on article, and written with truth and dare I say a little bit of affection.
