Allardyce has beaten them with worse boys, never seen such a defeatist group of fans.

Almost like we haven't beaten them for seven years.
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth

Well at least we've recovered a little sense of pride and confidence over the past 2 games, that gives us something to work on.

Their defence is pretty average, that's about all I have to offer.

I think people cling to misty memories of Andy Johnson and Tim Cahill like it were yesterday.

Here's our record against Liverpool over the last 20 (TWENTY) years in league and cup:

This was a flippant comment but it really is an absurd statistic...

In that time we've beaten the following...

Man United x4
Chelsea x6
Arsenal x2
Man City x6
Tottenham x3

The players should absolutely believe they can beat them, because they definitely can. Liverpool have obvious vulnerabilities that can be exposed.

However, I don't think anyone can or should blame the fans for expecting the worst. It's hugely likely that we'll get pumped all over Anfield for 90 minutes.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

That's true but it doesn't surprise me when everyone goes in thinking we'll lose.

Got to go into every derby believing you'll win, at least until it's 2-0 15 minutes in.

also, with different luck Brighton could have been 3-3 and they're shite, we just need to bore the shit out of them and get a set piece, if we go at them they'll destroy us, if we counter them they'll counter us back and destroy us.

Going to be a proper Moyes vs City display (hopefully without a late opposition winner).

If we score at all it's usually only one goal. Beckford was the last player to score a second in 2011 (ended 2-2 ).
Before that it was Jeffers in 1999 (3-2 )
We are special ,we are Everton.

At least we're off the bottom a loss to them when we were still down there would have been even worse than usual, small consolation but we have better to look forward to now surely, and we haven't lost it yet.
I still despise Clive Thomas..
