Seeing the way the kids are expressing themselves I don't think Mourinho would be a great choice even if he did get persuaded by Moshiri. De Boer with Unsy No 2 might not be a bad shout if we're looking at nurturing the future.

It's great when Mirallas is in the mood. So to speak.

Barkley still not really at it ... not chasing back, closing down or making runs. He should be totally running this.

What game are you watching? He's looked bright and dangerous since he came on.

And then a 5th.

Ha, no way.

Spurs' hype this season = overblown. Any other year they'd have been fighting for fourth with their performances overall this season.

Don't worry he'll be off in the summer .

Would be epic. De Boer has a rep for developing youth in a major way.

Goodbye, Tim Howard!

Thanks for, one decade ago, getting this American goalkeeper interested in a team I will be supporting for life.

Goodbye, Tim Howard!

Thanks for getting this American goalkeeper interested in a team a decade ago that I will be supporting for life.

Was just about to post that I was happy Tim got his clean sheet. Good keeper for us, wish he was playing for the Union next though.

Really happy, amazing how a change like that can revitalize a team.

I know I am not gonna get carried away, it was a meaningless game I get that, but after that season it was refreshing to see us play that way for a change.

Looking forward to the forthcoming season, nice to see Howard get his clean sheet too.

What i've taken from this game is that Unsworth has done a very good job of equipping his u21 team to make the step up and therefore he should probably stay with them. why promote him to another position which is nothing to do with the youth team when he appears to be doing such a good job.
