I think with Tarashaj going to Eintracht Frankfurt we should be expecting more than one striker to sign today. We're far too short in that department. Lukaku and Kone as the only two senior strikers won't be adequate. There are also question marks on whether Kone is good enough and whether he'll stay fit enough to provide cover. Three strikers is not enough. And we still haven't signed Gabbiadini for sure yet.

Martins Indi and Bony already arrived at Stoke, they're out of the traps fast this morning.

The Tash to Frankfurt is a good move in my opinion. Good to see him at a serious level of football to run the rule over him.

Question marks on kone being good enough is the understatement of the year, I'd be having question marks if we were in Div 1 over his ability at that level. There are no question marks, he is not good enough!

West Ham, nailed on ! It's the "that London" factor.

If it was West Ham then I would expect David Sullivan Jnr to tweet something.

Steve Walsh is on a 'check your phone every 30 seconds' day today hoping for good news otherwise I wouldn't like to be him walking past Koeman in the morning.

Not arsed about Bony.

He's a talented player and his game is the sort of thing we need to add but he looks like he just doesn't give a fuck about football.

Fact he's going to Stoke says a lot in my view.

As back up mate. That's why I say we need two or more, senior quality strikers.

If Sissoko goes to Spurs what about a cheeky bid for Dembele? Or is he injured/not there anymore?

I think from our point of view I'd have a suspicion that when he's not in the team he loses a lot of sharpness.

Whether that's because he's not arsed or his physical build or whatever it's not ideal if that player is primarily a back up player.

For that role you need someone who can come in and out and offer a steady level of performance.

He'll be first choice at Stoke so a good move for both I'd have thought.

Are they going to surprise us and pull something spectacular out of the bag?
My bet is on Brahimi and that's about it.
