We'd need to have a seriously amazing summer for any players of his potential to even notice we still exist let alone think about coming here.

Bit dramatic.

If he makes himself available we're near the top of the list and I think it would be a great move for him.

Not really. We're a mid table club now and have been since Martinez's first season. 11th, 11th, 7th and whatever we end up at this season. It's going to take either some impressive signings and a similar forward-thinking managerial appointment and/or next season where we show some promise and progression before players of Rashford's ilk decide we're on some sort of upward trajectory to risk taking a step down for.

We've got a much better chance of signing the Dutch version of a Rashford or other promising youngsters from across Europe before we're in a position to sign Rashford. In my opinion.

Rashford or Martial as a central striker would be the perfect signing. I don't think either will be within our reach with no European football to offer next season.

Tend to agree that with Allardyce in charge he might not get what he's after.

If Allardyce goes we've got a decent chance of getting a player like him in. He would thrive as a central figure

No player in their right mind would sign for anyone until they know the manager, the style of football and the direction of the club.

As with everything else, all hope and future planning is completely dependent on Allardyce being here or not.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

With Allardyce as manager, we are more likely to attract the likes of Shane Long than Marcus Rashford. He needs to go ASAP.

Fuck it, get Big Mickey Brands to offer a BOGOF deal for Rashford and Martial.
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

Be surprised to see Utd letting him go permanently, a loan would seem the mostly likely option for all parties similar to how we got Lukaku.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.
