Pienaar touched it and it was going in anyway even though a defender helped it over. He should be credited with it.

It took me about 5 viewings to realise Pienaar accidentally thighed it towards goal.

Gibson was sent off, because Cole was sent off, I think it's both or neither in terms of bans. Both could be called yellow on another day, but I've certainly seen harsher reds. As I said in the match thread, if either of those raise feet go into faces, I don't think there would be any doubt and I think both were high and clumsy enough to be considered in that role. But a yellow would have sufficed in both cases, but by the letter of law, I think it's a tough case to argue.

Much respect for Neville, Also worth noting Baines' reaction, he got up and walked off with his head down before the card was branded. But you can also see the West ham players baffled at Gibson's red.
