Setting the bar unnecessarily high there Theo. What was wrong with “judge me on my shots on target”.

And remember him getting upset and criticising Arsenal in the post match interview for wanting it less than Palace?

Yeah he’s definitely not watched us much the past few seasons.

Obviously, he's better than what we have, but he's a one in four ratio. Even Cahill had a 1 in 3.

Easy to be cynical I suppose, as we've seen in the summer Klaassen wanting to be captain, etc but good luck to him...I'd certainly like to see us score a bunch more goals.

I think people will have a lot of the frustrations with Walcott that many fans have had with a lot of our players in the recent past, in that they don’t seem to have much of a football brain.

Walcott is quite single minded when he gets on the ball and won’t be of much use in our quest to improve our possession in the attacking third. A lot of what he does will drive us crazy and the ball will bounce off him or he’ll shoot into row z far more often than seems reasonable for what should be such a seasoned professional. But some of the time he’ll do something special and we’ll all forgive him.

In that sense you can expect him to bring out many of the same emotions that we had from the best and worst of Lukaku, Mirallas and Barkley.

We'll judge you on appearances, Theo
