There's always a risk with players outside of PL so it makes sense to get some players who already know the drill. Players coming from elsewhere might take a while to adjust.

I'm in solely to piss off West ham fans.
Not sold on him, he seems very hit and miss
Heisenberg thoughts on Lukaku :
If he was English his value would be 10-15.

He'd cost a fair whack for what is a pretty lightweight and inconsistent player. Not for me.

Just saw the 30m number being touted, that seems shocking.

I think there are going to be some crazy fees this summer

You'd like to think we won't have our pants pulled down but you know every team will at least once this summer.

Similar fee to Bolasie and similar level of player to be fair.

I like Sigurdsson better, but wouldn't mind having them both at all (maybe both only if Ross leaves, which hopefully he doesn't).

that is the thought process. going after Siggy regardless and if Ross doesn't sign, Lanzini too.

What's prompting people to dismiss him as average, yet say sigurdson would be a great signing?

Sorry to be a bit of a broken record on the whole sigurdson thing lads but I don't get the hype.

This lad offers a lot more and is younger.

People scoffing at a 30mil price tag whilst being happy to see us spent a little less on sigurdson who's older and offers less in the way he plays imo.

I'd imagine that it's a few seasons of more goals and assists for sigurdsson

Lanzini only really done it for 6 months

That's not to say he isn't a player mind

I think he could be our new Piennar. Can see him linking up well with Baines or another new, attacking left back.  8 goals not bad for a team that finished in the lower regions of the league.

whispers are that west ham have just lost a big sponsorship deal for their stadium which would have basically paid the rental for them..

bigger picture.....because of this lost revenue....any players sold...they will command big prices for them....
