Liverpool is a bad example as they are miles ahead of us so none of our strikers would get a sniff at Anfield, but against WBA I think Niasse could have done a job from the start

Thatís only the most recent one.

Isnít Palace the only PL goal heís scored (for us and Hull) when heís started?

It is yes however he can't score from the bench, he hasn't started games lately

Can people please stop mentioning Inzaghi.

Incomparably better at football than Niasse.

Cottee was selfish, rather than poor at football too.

Closest example weíve had would be Beckford, but again his problem was selfish play and an unwillingness to do tough things like getting hammered in the back when holding the ball up. Scored some good technical goals.

Do you not do humour on a Sunday morning?

Probably not the best time of the week when youíve been up since 5:50 and having watched that yesterday...

He absolutely does and I have no problem with that but can you imagine what he might score with regular good service and playing for 90 mins

But thatís part of the problem.

His all round game is so lacking that he contributes to the lack of build up play etc.

No manager, even at Hull where he was doing well and had dross as competition (actually thatís like here now isnít it? ;) ), has picked him from the start regularly.

Same as Lukaku innit his build up/hold up/ first touch was questionable but he could score 20 per season in the 85th min of any game we had already won.

Lukakuís hold up play was questionable in relative terms to the top class level that it should be if heís to be considered a world class player.

It was, as we have seen with our options this year, better (or at least not worse) than lots of other players (hence Utd and Chelsea being in for him).

In an ideal world you wouldnít need a Niasse in your squad as  you wouldnít be constantly chasing games. However heís priceless at the minute as we donít have the quality across the whole pitch to get ourselves into winning positions and until such a time as we are we shouldnít be looking to get rid of him.

Even at Hull he only scored 4 in 19 games. Heís doing better for us.

All praise King Niasse.

player of the season so far for me.

He's the perfect 6 yard box poacher, he needs someone like DCL or Cenk up top with him and he would be scoring a shit load of goals.

he was unlucky the west brom defender hand balled when he played himself through.
Double Niasse would have won it for us today, but glad we didnt. as that would have disguised our shit house tactics.
Unsworth has a 100% League record at home

Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017
West Ham 4-0 29th Nov 2017
