The USA -Mexico matches have absolutely nothing on the Merseyside Derby, but there is a fever pitch and bodies flying all over.  Players want to one-up the opposition so badly that they can be taken out of their game.  Landon is spot-on from that perspective.  I would love to see him on the scoresheet tomorrow, along with Louis Saha, who is like a new signing!

I think that quote is great.

Much better than the guff about fans being great etc.

It really shows the ethic that there is in and around the team.
