That should be a sackable offence for a highly paid manager to throw the towel in , donít see why the club canít at least fine him a months wages.

Imagine the fume if a player come out and said this.
Players get slated for not putting effort in on some of the dead rubber games on the last day of the season, surely this is worse.

It's not a complete write off if we can still finish 7th and get in to europe, which is very possible with our remining fixtures and the fact it's only 5 points off. That's what we should be pushing for in the last 12 games.

But regardless of whether it is a write off or not the manager should NEVER be saying that, ever. It's completely inexcusable the bloke is a class A bellend. It's such poor management, it gives the players the excuse to not try as much (if that's even possible in some cases), it's not just poor management in football it's poor management full stop. If my manager at work was that defeatist I would be fuming, thankfully he isn't, he's the complete opposite.

The bottom line, Allardyce is incompetent and has to be the worst appointment we've made in many, many years. If he's still here at the start of next season I will be livid.

Incredible to think heís said this while thereís still just under a third of the season to go, 36 points up for grabs, and weíre only 5 points behind Burnley who currently sit in the last likely European qualifying position in the league, and weíve still got to play them again as well as other very favourable matches.

Honestly we know heís been given free reign, like the last twat, to do and say as he likes but his soundbites and media musings have been nothing short of scandalous. Itís as if heís deliberately antagonising the fans and players at times and nobody either at the club, associated with us the media or in the press are actually prepared to pull him up on it.

perhaps he wants to get the sack - or more likely, just wave his fat white arse at everyone and show everyone how immune he is from it.

Sad days.

perhaps he wants to get the sack

I think this is possible, it's a major flaw with manager contracts in football these days. I'm pretty sure Conte is doing the same at Chelsea, he's had enough, his passion is gone, he's almost unrecognisable from last season - but he won't walk as he's waiting for his pay off before walking into another lurcrative job somewhere else.

He's got a bet on with Steve Walsh for how much shit they can spout and things they can do before anyone even tries to speak to them about it from the club.

Walsh's effort this week was a link to kung-fu kicking bellend Patrice Evra as a potential signing, so this is Sams response

Wonder what soul destroying crap they'll come up with next whilst no one bothers to utter a word to them

And THIS is why the media were behind the hire - not because it was in any way good for Everton, but rather because it was good for easy copy.  Every sportswriter loves a freakshow, Sam is their equivalent of a 12-car crash with blood everywhere for the local evening news.

If this season is such a write off why does he persist in giving the players who've made this season a write off more game time? Surely this would be the ideal opportunity to give Klassen, Sandro, Tosun, Lookman, Vlasic the game time they need to try to get them up to speed rather than banish some of them and get rid of the rest on loan. It must be demoralising knowing the team is litter and you're not even getting a look in, what is their incentive?
Also, If the season is a write off why not try to give something back to the fans who've wasted their hard earned money watching this shower with attractive free flowing football, not just parking the bus and not shooting.

I think he's realised no-one really wants him or his team there so he's not aiming for anything higher than his survival bonus and he'll part company in the summer with a big payoff.
He is also just reverting to type which is a minimal risk manager who enjoys lowering expectations.

Still, good job Moshiri read his autobiography before he appointed him hey. We have complete fuckin idiots at every level in the club now and it's sad to see.

He knows he's gone at the end of the season (if not before if this shit carries on) and is trying to lower expectations as he no longer gives a shit where we finish as long as we're not relegated. His last chance to prove all the doubters of his ability to manage at the top level wrong, all he's done is confirm what we all feared - he's in way above his head!

There is no way to dress this up as anything other than ďI donít give a fuck anymoreĒ.

We have never had such an unworthy, arrogant person in charge. From the football played on the pitch to the person, I hate all he stands for. I hated him before he was here and even more so now that we have had to endure his pitiful spell as our manager.

I really want to see Unsworth back in charge for the remainder of the season after we hit 40 points.

We need to get rid of him as soon as possible after we are safe.

I actually agree with him looking at the performances but it's disgusting that a manager would say this in public.

I reckon the players attitude's are all over the place and need a full pre season to build some kind of unit again.

Yeah I see your point, but with the performances being so very poor, I would expect some humility and fighting spirit shown from the 10th highest paid manager in world football, and a vow to 'turn it around' and 'play with pride' and make the players work for their places in the squad in preparation for a big end of season, and an even bigger start to next season.

But nah, he just doesn't give a shit, and this just rubs the fans noses in it.

The more this guy speaks the more I hope we go for someone like Eddie Howe in the summer... Need a likable manager who comes across with a bit of class, Howe never takes credit and never blames the players, plus plays attacking football.

He's the total other end of the spectrum to Allardyce

Donít get me wrong, his comments arenít what I would come out with, but I donít think heís committed some heinous crime.

Heís said the players played crap against Arsenal. They did. So heís not lying.

The next question is whether thatís an effective motivator, whether it has the opposite effect, or whether it doesnít have much effect at all.

On that, well who really knows? Different managers have different styles. Mourinho singles out individuals. Wenger sees no wrong. Allardyce it seems insults the collective.

I guess you can make an argument for any approach and all have their pros and cons. And a communication style has to fit the giver and the receiver, so thereís no one size fits all.

As I say, not my choice of words, but we have bigger concerns than some post match comments.

He set up to defend with a player in a very important position right in front of the CH's who can't and hasn't been arsed all season in Schneiderlin . He left Rooney and Siggurdsson the bench and blames the players for not holding onto any possession against arguably the best passing side in the league . He is an embarrassment to this club and needs to be fucked off in May ( if not now) so as we don't have to right off next season before it has even began .

Agreed, it was a poor team selection and embarrassing result. Iíd much rather judge Allardyce on the performances and results across the end of the season.

On the basis that they continue in a similar vein to how heís started, which wouldnít much surprise me, Iíd be laying out the feelers and fucking him off when our dream managerial appointment, whoever that is, becomes available.

I donít want us sacking him without a plan though for who comes next. Iíd really like us to get our next appointment right.

The difference is Mourinho will occasionally blame himself for the results and can be an expert in diverting the attention away from the players too. He is also a winner and is one of the most decorated managers in world football. Sam Allardyce does everything to avert blame elsewhere despite baffling decisions. Itís starting to gather pace in the media too. Cascarino in The Times, Totally Football Show and The Football Ramble, of Allardyce being out of his depth, unimaginative and stifling what is actually a talented squad, yet he is making out otherwise. He is the pathetic one.

He's not just destroying us from a footballing perspective with his negativity but all the expectation we built up after a decent season last year, the takeover, the increase in focus on us, the interest from potential sponsors....all wiped away by having a dinosaur telling the whole world we need to be more boring, we need to secure our Premier League status while we're 9th in the league, the players aren't good enough, the talented kids need to go and play elsewhere.

I don't expect our board to do anything but he's like a cancer eating away inside the club at the minute, him and his staff and Walsh. They're all part of a bygone era and should all be in retirement sipping their brown ale in some backward wine bar in Chorley.

Thereís not much evidence of that happening though, is there? Hard to say with Rodgers as heís got by far the best team in the league. Pep had to spend £Ms on defenders to get Ďthe other sideí sorted. Klopp? No. Martinez? Iíve not seen Belgium, so not not sure. M

I think Howe would be a terrible appointment. He got homesick at Burnley. Heís got his nice little set-up going on down there, itís like a comfortable pair of slippers for him. Iíve not seen anything that suggests he could manage the expectations and pressures of a job like Everton.

I've wanted Howe since Martinez went, I think he is a very talented down to earth manager who has got Bournemouth playing good football. I was and am a bit biased though, I lived in Bournemouth for 5 years and used to watch them a lot in Howe's early days in the lower leagues (and a bit before then when he was reserve team manager), they even played good football back then with Max Gradel and Wade Elliot on the wings, Darren Anderton in midfield (who was old and slow but still a different class) as well as Sam Vokes up front.

I'm a big Eddie Howe fan and I think Bournemouth's story of being an established Permier League clubs is one of the great fairy tales in recent seasons, unfortauntely thier accomplishments in thier first season were overshadowed (and rightly so)  by Leicester winning the league.

Koeman and Walsh achieved that and it's arguable that if Koeman got his main striker and left back he might still be in a job.

We had a chance to regain momentum when Koeman left but instead we've employed someone with even less charisma and zero ambition.

However Swansea, the league's bottom club, were able to compete a few days earlier. Granted it wasn't at the Emirates but they still looked like at the very least they'd compete first and foremost and not give them an easy game. We went in there set up for a twatting and that's what we got.

The Sam apologists will disagree and say I'm jumping on him unjustly but he's an embarrassment every time he opens his mouth at the minute.

Allardyce on Mangala:

"There wasnít anything wrong with his performance in the second half. Only I would know that because itís my job to study the game."

Maybe because they were 4-0 up and weren't remotely arsed second half?

Deserves to be the most liked message of the week. Perfect.

Always losing heavy for Fraud is about 10-12 times a season. Not 4-6 times.

Si with the instigator first reply there too. HAHA!

Fair play to Moshiri and the board though, theyíve played an absolute blinder. Bringing in someone just good enough to keep us up but whoís such a massive bellend, the fans are so consumed with their hatred for him, theyíve lost sight of the real problems.

If the cllub were capable of that kind of forward planning we wouldnít be in this mess.
