Post by: markB on December 28, 2018, 09:05:23 PM

think they have a point, not just as its Liverpool you could pick a few times it has happened with the top 6 teams

If course itís a double standard. Itís not intentional but itís easier to ban a lesser player and itís easier to punish lesser clubs when it wonít affect title races and anger millions of fans
Always has been that way and always will be. We need to get ourselves amongst the top teams and benefit from it because it will never change

Easier but totally ineffective. As proven this week.

Ban Salah for diving and see if he does it again?

Has Vardy been criticised for diving since he was sent off for it?

The quickest way to enforce a rule is to punish the "big" clubs / players.

Donít disagree but that doesnít look like itís ever gonna happen. They canít ban them when the establishment is insisting they are innocent. Itís a ridiculous double standard but itís not just the bans. Itís the amounts of injury time when these sides are losing. Itís the amounts of penalties and free kicks they are awarded every game.
The refs and the fa are terrified of upsetting the few top teams. Terrified of the bad press what comes with a wrong decision against 1 of them (so itís easier to give them all the 50 50s)
I just donít see it ever changing

So has the retrospective diving ban thing been sacked off for good?

apart from the total bias ,  the whole media outlets, press,  match of the day,  talksport on the following monday( had a fucking 2 hr slot) all of them were damning of niasse and he was basically guilty before the panel sat down,

did any of the press question Benitez, players at the time ,   cos they asked Roy , and Scott Dann  at the time so it definitely did not help,

at the time we just took it on the chin, should have   backed him more , fuck even the ref watched it again and said it was  still a pen.

to me this whole pen / deception / ban is dead in the water

its just like when they crack down on pulling in the box - it lasts for about 2 games

Won't happen, because if the likes of Salah, Sanchez, Hazard etc got banned for diving, it would be massive news and would probably reflect badly on the FA / Diving Panel. After all don't the Sky, BT viewers want to watch the best players every week. The dive off Salah was an absolute disgrace and what's more of a disgrace is he will get away with it, with hardly a mention, from the so called experts and analysers. Why because most of these are from the top six clubs.

I love how their trying to justify the non 3 game ban by saying he didnít get a PK from a push in the area last Season.

Do they not fucking get it?

I hate that we are a 'small club', get the investment we always dreamed of but end up pissing it up the wall anyway.
