After reading his passing accuracy stats he's exactly what we don't need

If gueye is off heís a like for like which doesnít inspire much confidence in the system changing anytime soon. Marco might have something else up his sleeve?

Bruno Fernandes is an interesting one, good age too.

I imagine he'd be a replacement for Schneiderlin and would come in when Gana was unavailable

I donít think so personally. Heís SO similar it seems weird to have two identical player profiles.

Schneiderlin is Marcos Ďideal 6í - if he went, Iíd expect someone in that mould to join.

Looks to be solid in the tackled and able to pass out once in possession. Could be a good addition and allow us to off load Schneiderlin. Just worry a little at how much he goes to ground and whether he would get away with it in the English game.

Or maybe McCarthy? Gana is too important, I can't see us going for a direct replacement who hasn't played European football ever and would take a while to get to grips with it

Part of me is wondering if heís going to have two total destroyers with Gomes and a front 3...

Barrios Youtube vid makes me think he'll be picking up a fair amount of yellows and reds if he does come

Pretty much every tackle was him diving in with feet leaving the ground.

Guaranteed red card in The Derby at the very least.

Yep, he won the ball a fair few times, but that type of approach in the Prem is only going one way!

He did win the ball, but yeah, he would be off in our league seven times out of ten tackling like that

What is he supposed to be? A more advanced Funes Mori?

4 goals in 149 league games....sign him up.

I do like the look of him from what i saw for Columbia and the Argentinian football ive caught this year.

Suggests a replacement for Gueye or maybe for McCarthy if we want 2 in every position

He got sent off for a right dirty tackle in the Copa Liberatores final. Probably be the player we all wanted Besic to be.

I would imagine the EPL officials are a bit more stringent

Let's wait and see, no point writing him off before a balls kicked

South American agents seem rather welcome at Goodison these days.

Absolutely, I hope heís amazing; one thing was obvious in the World Cup was just how solid and combative Colombia were.

His tackling style did look madcap on that YouTube vid, though 😁

Letís not write him off before itís more than an unsubstantiated rumour that weíre even interested in the lad !

Might as well shut down the Everton Forum down for the month and only reopen it on match days then if we canít wildly speculate about the merits of the potential signings of mad players!

Don't think this is a good signing. Not good on the ball. yellow cards is his trade mark. Prefer to see us use the money on Sander Berge from Norway or give Dowell a chance.
