Always said I never liked wholesale changes to a squad and now we're seeing the affect of it. It's similar to when a relegation threatened team or newly promoted team go out and bring in ten new players, it rarely works. It all takes time to integrate them in to the squad, plus we have the added hindrance of losing our best player and not even coming close to replacing him.

I'm not taking the blame away from Koeman, what's happening on the pitch is baffling at times but I think the high turnover of players in the summer is one of the many factors to what's happened so far. Most were happy to accept that it would probably take four windows to get the team together he wanted, unfortunately we kind of stuttered through the first two windows then went balls out in the third but ended up buying too many players in similar positions and not enough for other positions, what started out as a positive window all became a bit scatter gun and desperate towards the end.
