I wonder if we can keep Rooney and send back Kone instead. Do you think they'll notice?

Have to admit I'm getting giddy now.

Thought kick off was at 4 and just by chance seen the ticket on the fireplace and noticed it's at 3. Close call  :bonk:

Fans unable to make it to Goodison Park for today’s Duncan Ferguson testimonial can watch the game online.

For our legions of supporters based overseas and those Evertonians unable to attend today’s 3pm clash with Villarreal, evertontv will be providing live streaming.

Coverage is available free to anyone who has purchased a pre-season package of six, five, four, three or two games this summer and access will automatically be added to your account - just visit evertonfc.com/preseasonlive from 2.55pm.

If you haven’t bought a package this summer but would still like to watch, you can purchase the game for a one-off price of 3.99.

That's quite a bit of money for what is likely to be a shitty feed.  Still, what the fuck else am I gonna do with my morning?

33,000 expected today...I don't think we've had a bigger attendance for a testemonial, that I can recall. That's without a Celtic or rangers to boost the attendance too.

Think this will be who starts against Watford, with Kone probably coming out for Lukaku. Hopefully this group gets 70+ minutes together.

4-3-3 with Ossie-Kone-Mirallas I'd have thought. What dreams are made of.
