To be fair a lot of the old guard won't be here in just over a year, if not earlier. We still need experience in the squad and once Jags, Baines, Rooney, Williams (I know)leave then we do look a bit light on senior pros.
Steve Walsh will urge Everton to make a move for Leicester's 31-year-old England striker Jamie Vardy this summer - if he stays on as director of football. (Liverpool Echo)
I wouldn't be so sure. People were saying Jags was done 2 years ago, now he's our best defender.
Says more about our options really. Jagielka in fairness has been great, but you'd question his ability to be anything more than a reliable back up at this point.
It's Wilshere ye meltsI'll lose my shit if we sign himI'm not having Walcott too by the wayWho's next? Aaron fucking Ramsey?
Id love to have Aaron Ramsey here tbf.
Walsh is smart. Just as he is looking like he is in trouble he starts going after Arsenal rejects to keep Moshiri happy. First Giroud, then the Wenger for manager rumours and now Wiltshire.Smart man that Walsh.
