top flight for a long time

Surely not.  Has someone been taking something to come up with this story?  Sunderland don't want him to leave (for less than 40M according to Bruce) but he'll go on loan to the RS for the rest of the season!

Oh dear, aren't the owners going to give Benitez some money to buy a striker? Surely they can trust him...can't they?

Where have you heard that, lad? I saw that the Jones thing was rubbished on the BBC Sport Website before, didn't read the story mind.

Why would Jones want to leave Sunderland to go to such a shitty club? ;)

It was on the BBC website rumours bit about 2-3 hours before Bruce rubbished it.

Hope it's true. It's a long time since they were forced to take players on loan. And Kenwyn Jones? United,Arsenal and Chelsea would never consider him. He's a Spurs/Villa type signing.
