Haile GAZrselassie

The deal has fallen through as Corinthians said they couldn't get the deal done before the South American window closes tonight.

Now Man City want £50m if a European club comes in for him.

Would Europe bring him closer to his family?

Technically speaking it takes him further away does it not?

Although there are no direct flights from the UK to Buenos Aries. You fly to Madrid then out to Buneos. Some fucking Irish dim wit thought of that like.

I trust we're flying East to West like?

Something Joorabchian said piqued my interest from an Everton perspective:

Quote
And he rubbished suggestions that the deal had fallen through because Corinthians could not provide guarantees for the transfer fee.

"To say that Corinthians could not provide guarantees for the money is nonsense," he said. "Firstly, they are the biggest club in Brazil. Secondly, any club that makes an offer and cannot pay will get suspended by Fifa and have points deducted."

Is that really true? If we make another one of our legendary phantom bids could we one day be called out?
