Needs to start Saha. If we line up with Felliani off Cahill with Neville in the middle my cats getting lashed right through the T.V.

treat them with no regard, from player to supporter; everyone of us has to be up for this from beginning to end

I'd go for:

Howard

Hibbert
Jagielka
Distin
Baines

Barkley
Rodwell
Fellaini
Drenthe

Vellios
Saha

But there's more chance of me becoming leader of the free world by Tuesday than there is of that happening.

So, probably 4-6-0 again, and probably another dicking to go along with it. Sad that we don't throw caution to the wind and just go an attack.

I agree with that stangely enough
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

i would have gueye on the bench in place of neville,
Alan Harper: "I made my debut at Goodison against Stoke and was standing in the tunnel waiting to go onto the pitch. Z cars started playing on the PA and I heard the crowd roar. If I could bottle a moment and save it forever, then that would be it.

I really am not worried about Liverpool at goodison. I think it will be for us to lose!
If we play our own game we will beat them

I expect to see

              Howard
Hibbert jags Distin Baines
        Rodwell Fellani
Coleman   Cahill   Osman
                 Saha

All fit I think this is probably the right way to the derby with the local lads playing.

No Barkley then?

I think that we'll realistically see:

Howard

Neville Jags Distin Baines

Barkley  Rodwell  Fellaini Osman

Cahill

Saha

I'd be surprised to see Coleman start, he was rushed back and it's starting to show, eager as ever but didn't do much against City.

I'd also be surprised if we started a derby without neville, despite Hibberts good form.

the roy vernon plan

I think EFC have a fair chance so long as DM does not repeat the City
errors.

- Never play Neville in midfield.
- Ask the players to play in their normal positions.
- Play with a recognized centre forward.
- Now that Arteta has gone, take a chance with a gifted player i.e Barkley
to provide something different

And my favourite recommendation
- never again put out a team that includes Hibbert,
Neville and Osman
