The Fitness of Drenthe and Saha really changes everything

with both of them in
--------------------------Howard----------------------
Hibbert------Distin--------------Jagielka-----Baines
--------------------------Felliani---------------------------
-------------------Rodwell-----Osman-------------------
Coleman-----------------------------------------Drenthe
---------------------------Saha------------------------------

thats how i would go, play narrow and try to catch Arsenals very high line on the break with the pace of coleman and drenthe (and sometimes saha if he wants to)

however if Saha and Drenthe are injured

----------------------------Howard-----------------------------
Hibbert----------Distin-----------Jagielka---------Baines
------------------Neville-------------Felliani--------------
Coleman-----------------Rodwell---------------Osman
------------------------------Cahill-----------------------------

sit deep and pray we can get them on a set piece or a lucky long ball

the key is to sit really Narrow and force Arsenal wide where they have to cross, but try and force arsenal to cross from deep, not get in behind

im sensing a classic Jagielka defesive perforamnce where he completely shuts down RVP like he did to torres a couple of times when he was at his best

maybe playing against his best mate will motivate cahill to pull his finger out and get on the scoreboard

Mentioned this on the main podcast last week, we have more chance of beating these than we did Stoke, but if we play like we did V Stoke we will get fucked

Lets fill every inch of our goal with 10 players and leave one outfield player to run around and make it hard for them to score. Fingers crossed we might get 0-0

They've rested their players midweek to play us...Oh dear hope Mikel does not celebrate if he scores, our only hope is to attack because I still think their defence are shite. Saying that still think its the wrong time to play them, defeat for me im afraid but if we lose lets attack the fuckers anyway and not just sit back asking for it.

Andre Santos is out of the match on Saturday, meaning that Vermaelen or Koscielny will have to play at left back. Coleman needs to have a blinder down that right flank now to give us a fighting chance.

If Drenthe is fit I would like to see him on the right and Coleman RB, and just fucking go for it, but this game will be like City away all over again.

Agree with the ram...

Arsenal have no full backs for either side for this weekend. We must look to exploit that.

Baines and Coleman as full backs offering plenty of overlapping.

Drenthe and 1 other out of ossie, barkley or guaye on the wings. I know ossie is no winger but if just to lay them on for bainsey could be a good tactical ploy for this one.
For this one I think I'd go...

                  Howard
Coleman jags heitinga Baines
             Rodwell Fellani
Drenthe.      Barkley.   Osman
                   Saha

                       Howard

Hibbert      Jags          Heitinga     Baines

Coleman   Rodwell     Fellaini       Bily

                Osman     Cahill

If Saha and Drenthe arent fit. And if not working can switch either Rodwell or Fellaini with Osman!
