Silver Spoons?

I was there for the final.

Thats the place. Think it used to be a roller disco or something.

Great atmosphere. Wet floor. Lots of Everton fans. Loads of drink.  Pretty top all round, except when you went out for a ciggie all you could see was Wembley stadium mocking you...

Also on final day it was boiling hot in there.

They refused service until half an hour before kick off because of the police ban leading up to the game. Was a bit fucking annoying. The place was a dump, but the atmosphere was cracking before and during the match (and after on semi final day, notso much on Final).

Anyone know when the FA will actually have paid off the construction of Wembley? That's the reason they always tout for low numbers of fan tickets for big sporting events.

I think it was 33k for the semi and 28k for the final in 2009? Either way, it'll be a pish allocation as usual.

Yeah i thought it was something like that, it's rubbish the amount they give both clubs, a big stadium like wembley they could give a lot more tickets to both clubs.

Seems to be too many counting chickens in this thread. Makes me nervous.
Farhad Moshiri, Alisher Usmanov, Muhamed Besic, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Ademola Lookman, Oumar Niasse, David Henen, Barack Hussein Obama, Confucius... Everton Muslims growing stronger...

i dont think that will matter.
it will be like the mersey tunnel, the toll was to pay off the construction.
they where making that much money form it, they couldnt afford to let it go.

when wembley is paid for, the fa will continue to give the corporate sponsors a big ticket allocation as it makes them tons of cash.

cash is king.
