Owen Coyle expected to be named manager today. A big point to try to prove after what happened at Bolton.

Kick in the teeth for Mclaren, unless it has a lot to do with expected wage packets
Simply simply lovely

In typical Whelan style, he's been on the blower to SSN before the club have officially announced it.

Or the cost of relocation :)

Coyle will be alright for them probably, unless they hit a rough patch, in which case he'll once again be unable to turn it around.

Mclarens gone from a good manager given a chance with Wolfsburg to being overlooked for the wigan job for Owen coyle in what? 2 years? Grim fall from grace

Apparently he's a good coach. But he comes across as being so simple I just can't reconcile the two. Forest wasn't pretty. I still cannot believe he was England manager!

Or that he got Middlesbrough to a European cup final.

He owns the club he can do what he wants. If he is announcing it, it is official.
