Heitinga can't play. It will be Distin and Senderos

This, and unless Fellaini is fit I'd expect the same line up barring the Senderos > Heitinga switch.

That is still pissing me off.
Anyway, I'd go with:

Howard
Coleman Senderos Distin Baines
Donovan Fellaini Osman Pienaar
Cahill
Saha
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

Well I'd put Neville in Felli's place then.

I don't think that's necessary in Europe. Osman and Arteta will be fine, especially if Osman plays like a terrier again. Probably best to keep Neville at the back against Sporting, too much to ask of Coleman probably.

We could do with some added creativity imo. Coleman could well do that, so I'd at least sub him on later.

I still don't think Arteta should be starting anything.

"I'd go with"

I don't expect that to be the team, but it's what I'd like.

all i ask for is a clean sheet to take to lisbon.

id like to think a couple of goals for us is not too much to ask as well but i wont be greedy and settle for one.

a clean sheet is imperative though.

trouble is. i really like the lad liedson and with senderos not having played much, and distin not as quick as he once was i fear liedson may have a decent time up against them.

anyone know their form going into the game? i know it picked up a shed load since getting their current coach in 10 weeks ago or so but what are their last 5 or 6 games reading like?

I really haven't a clue what will happen. If Saturday's team turns up we're in trouble, if Wednesdays team turns up we'll win, easily.
