I would expect numerous changes for this with the cup game up and coming

Worryingly tho if we lose this and its gonna be a very hard game that will be 3 straight league defeats

2 1 Swansea for me

Simply simply lovely

This will be a really tough game for us,swansea are great at home and play good football.but i will still say a win to us, 2-1.

Now the league has been stuffed up by the last two games, I'm inclined to now say fuck it, and rest certain players for the Sunderland game.

Fellaini would certainly be benched for me. Could be a good game to start the likes of Barkely, as it is likley to be an open game given Swansea's approach.

Not sure whether it would bee a great game for Barkley or Junior. Swansea will have the lion share of possession so we'll be chasing the game a lot.

coming to something when we're bigging swansea up.

i think we should play our strongest squad (and try to win) in EVERY game.

90 minutes a week isn't the norm any more. time we got used to it.

I'd rather protect players from injury/suspension ahead of the biggest game we've had since 2009 rather than risk them in a meaningless game like this.

Expecting Jelavic, Cahill and one of Heitinga and Distin to be rested for this one.

They've only been beaten twice at their place, have one of the best home defensive records in the league, we all know what they can do attacking and possession wise and their confidence will be sky high with recent results.

Can't see anything other than a loss considering the form we're showing. The only hope we'll have to press them from the off, force them into a few early errors and try and nick a goal early on... just can't see that happening though.

1-0 to them.

maybe you're right, maybe not, but i would hardly call any of our games 'meaningless'. every place up the table is much needed money.

i have this novel idea that the manager should always pick his best 11 players.

reserves are there, a. to make every effort to impress the manager, and hopefully break into the first team. b. to be available in the case of injury or suspension to a first-teamer. that’s when they get their chances. simples.

trying to be clever just fucks everything up, as we’ve seen.

As long as we kill the pace of the game we've got a chance. IF we try play them at their game we shall lose.  0-0 or 1-1 i think
