Tight 2-1 this one I reckon.

Can everyone please bring a baseball cap so we can all do an infuriated Tony Pulis impression when we get a penalty in the 89th minute?

4-0 Everton sounds about right.

It's a tight pitch which doesn't suit our game at all. Added to their solid tactics there won't be oceans of space to play in.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Felli played further back in order to help out against goal kicks and free kicks from their half as Jags and Heitinga are the smallest CB pairing in the league. I know that Distin is there at LB but all Crouch has to do is stand on the right CB and Distin can't do anything.

I suspect that Gibson will struggle to be involved unless we just took the chance of being 3-0 up to rest him.

I can see

Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Heitinga Distin
Neville Fellaini
Osman Cahill Pienaar
Jelavic

A truly horrible one one draw
When Stoke played at Goodison this year it was the worst advert for football I have ever watched

I think that we need to play Neville at right back, can't afford to let Hibbo stand off Etherington so he can ping balls into Crouch against our small CBs.

I'd drop Jags and have Distin partnering Heitinga with Neville at left back. Need all the height we can get.

Tough as fuck match. Never like playing Stoke and especially not at their place. Still, we're on a good run and should be able to get something out of this.
