I dont think the tackle was a dirty tackle because shawcross isnt like that. it was just hard. you could tell by shawcross' reaction that he didnt want to hurt him.

I heard that the tackle didn't even warrant a red card, it was just unfortunate.

Which is interesting given Ridge's claim that it was no worse than Nolan's challenge which had a lot of intent.

Didnt look as bad as Eduardo's to be fair. Eduado had an open fracture of the fibula and an open dislocation of the ancle. Thad did look bad though. I want to see it again.

It wasn't worse than Nolan's tackle, certainly not in intent. I probably wasn't very clear, but I was trying to say it was badly timed, too aggressive but not as malicious as other tackles.

Pretty horrible, but when I see it I can't help thinking back to the tackle earlier this season in Belgium someone posted on the old forum, that made me feel ill.
