Sky have Anichebe playing up front alongside Yakubu.  That's the only reason I can think it would make sense to start him rather than Donovan in his last game.

And what a surprise, Coleman nowhere to be seen once perma-favourite Hibbert and co are back.

Moyes stop going on about competition for places when you foster none and the favourites know they'll be in the side every week - basically unless injured.

Neville/Hibbert at RB with Anichebe on RW. That's terrible. Also why no Vaughan on the bench? No striker at all for that matter.

That said COYB ;)

said Vaughan was carrying a knock, hopefully it is 4-4-2 rather than Vic on the wing, we should really be getting at teams like Hull from the start

Can't see it being 4-4-2, guys. Off to work in a minute so I won't get to see the match, but I'd expect Anichebe to be on the right wing.

No out and out striker on the bench either. Excellent...

They said at Spurs in the TV lineup Anichebe was up front with Yak but he clearly wasn't and I'd doubt he'd be up front in this XI either.

I'm struggling to understand that decision myself.  We should be looking to blat these twats out of sight.

I don't get it either.  We should still have enough to take Hull though.

Anichebe? Isn't this Landycakes' last game?

Come on Davey...
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

I don't think it's a big deal, Anichebe is more than capable and Donovan on the bench is a good option.

Hmm, anyone up for predict the substitutions?

Donovan > Anichebe - 65 mins
Rodwell > Arteta - 80 mins
Yobo > Osman - 90 mins
