I know they were giving him time to build a team, but his job must be really on the line now.

Celtic humped 4-0 by the mighty St Mirren. Shocking season for Celtic. Rangers now 10 ahead with 2 games in hand.

Not as much as Rangers fans!

At least he played decent football at WBA.

It's a problem for sure. Not just at Celtic. A very poor Rangers team could be 16 ahead of Celtic. I don't follow the game here that closely here, but the situation shows what a mess Scottish football is in.

I cant really see a way back for Scottish Football in terms of the "glamorous old firm". I can see them slipping down further and further in quality and the league becoming competitive with 4 or 5 sides having a shot at the title.

That's the trouble. The old firm is all they have. And even they are falling apart.

Maybe a league with 4 or 5 teams capable of winning it isn't a bad thing? But, on the bigger scale, dark days are ahead for Scottish football.

Depends what you mean by "dark days", Gash.

Rangers and Celtic have almost no money, and the other SPL clubs have pretty much zilch.

The problem is the Old Firm have the fanbases to always stay on top, regardless of their current slide.

This is why they can't join the PL. They would get relegated in an instant.
