Wow that pass from the Lahm to Ribery may have been the best pass I've ever seen.

Lyon V Bordeaux is much better.

how would you know this though?

i presume you're watching the lyon game so that would then in turn mean you have not been watching the bayern v man u game. so wouldn't know how good that game is.

it's been a fantastically open game of football and i for one wont be turning it off.

Yeah, Utd can have no complaints about that result.

How cool was Olic's finish?  That goal summed him up really, hard work and a bit of quality to go with it.

Rooney's reaction suggested it was the metatarsal again with the way he immediately signalled to the bench.

I only saw the second half, and was amazed how much Bayern dominated.
2-1 isn't a disaster, but next week Bayern will have Schweinsteiger back and could have Robben back, whereas Rooney looks to have damaged his foot.  Be interesting to see what happens to United tittle challenge if hes out for any stretch of time.

Looks like a twist of the ankle. Could still be a bad one.

Well deserved for Bayern.

Replays showed Rooney's hurt his ankle not his metatarsal, which is hopeful.

Haha, Redknapp's diagnosed the injury and the length of time out after viewing the super slo-mo.

Also whilst I'm slating Sky, did anyone else get wound up by the way that Gray and Tyler were laughing and applauding Neville's "professionalism" when he took a dive in his own area?  Would have been a different matter if it had been a cheating foreigner....

Ferguson has said that Rooney got a kick on the ankle, but isn't sure how serious it is. He'll be out for a few weeks at the least then.
