Looking forward to this one. We have Fellaini back, and hopefully Mirallas and Gibson. We are under the floodlights and Arsenal aren't playing well, and are short of confidence like us at the moment.
We are more than capable of beating them but we really need our quality players back.
I would be bold enough to put Oviedo on the left but it also depends on whether Mirallas is ok to play.

Not looking forward to this one. Yes we can score against almost anyone but not always enough and if we can't shut out Norwich, don't fancy our chances against Arsenal if it's level with ten mins to go.

I can see a hiding here.

We are very much on a downward spiral with all early season momentum well and truly gone now. All this talk of a good start baffles me, considering the teams we have played and dropped points against it is a very average start.

We also have a couple of key players in bad form - Howard, Pienaar and Jelavic.

Arsenal can score goals for fun and our defence is about as solid as OJ Simpsons defence.

Easy win, even though we're not as good as our early season form we're still better than the Arse

If Mirallas and Gibson are back I can see a draw.

I would be in favour of dropping Pienaar for Oviedo.

If we are struggling on the hour I would like to see Vellios on sooner to aid Jelavic.

1-1.

More chance of beating a footballing team than a rugby team like Norwich . Hibbert and Fellaini back and maybe Gibson and Mirallas from the bench. 2-1. :hail:

Whoever we are playing against the key thing, at present, is if we can improve our ratio of shots to goals.

The current one of about 15 shots for every one goal is terrible.

Whether we're due a bit of luck or whether we normally would be doing better and therefore it'll improve in time remains to be seen.

We definitely shouldn't be writing this one off though. They're below us which, given our form over the last 7 or 8 games, says something about them.

And also, while we haven't played anyone of real substance (bar Utd) we don't actually know how we're going to play against the better teams.

Maybe the knowledge that we have to be more clinical will subliminally make us concentrate more at both ends?

But back to the original point, whatever the reason for it our finishing has to improve otherwise the season won't be much different from the recent games.

I'll be shocked if Hibbert doesn't play, the reason he won't have played Saturday (yet was still on the bench) was to probably save him for this game.

How on Earth will dropping Jelavic help? he's in a slump and still scored like 5 in 12 games which would give him about 15 by the end of the season.
