I think this is definitely a match in which we would should take the chance to rest players. The opposition is woeful and not comparable to Leeds.

We're all guessing as to who's jaded and/or carrying slight knocks but from what I've seen recently I'd go with the following:

-----------------Mucha
Neville-----Heitinga---Duffy---Oviedo

Naismith---Hitz----Fellaini---Gueye
------------------Barkley------------------
-------------------Velios----

Plenty of experience with a scattering of youth/players that deserve a chance.

Gives a rest to the likes of Baines, Jags, Pienaar, Ossie & Jelavic all whom have played a lot of minutes.

I wouldn't rest Heitinga/Neville being inclined to drop them both when we face Swansea.

Baines, Pienaar and Jelavic to be rested. Everyone else can play.

Howard, Jelavic and Fellaini will be rested I think.

Baines doesn't need resting.

I'd be interested in starting Jela if I'm honest. I think this is a very good opportunity for him to get goals and that is something we need him to start doing. Once we can get him hot I have a feeling he will score bags of goals.

we don't need one

leave them all at home for a rest, it gets cold in Cheltenham and we don't want to risk an outbreak of the sniffles

Always thinking of others. Looks like the coach driver could get the night off if we are only sending up two players.

he's already booked into a Travelodge in Wallassey for the night with Sylvain Distin

Baines will give Mucha a piggyback to the game and then home again, he's even offered to take his kids as well

Pure gold that.  lolol

Would love if Baines started up a rickshaw company to make a few extra quid during the week.

Good team. But Jags in goal is better than Mucha

Mucha is playing as a lone-striker

This standing on my head is not good for the circulation.

Sometimes being better isn't enough. If it turned into a battle would our second string be up for it?

We should wanna win... Keep in the good habits. Am all for keeping a few fresh but not wholesale changes. 3 at the beginning then if we go comfortably ahead 3 subs

Agree, a few new faces in like Barkley, Oviedo and perhaps Duffy. Try and get the job done well enough that we can put on some more fringe players in the second half.

not sure why we need to rest anyone. We went out the league cup early, we are not in Europe.

Play full strength team, get game won then sub off fellaini, pienaar and Jelavic. Having said that would rest Baines and please no Mucha!!!

The only one i'd give a rest to would be baines.I know we should be able to rest a half dozen and still go through in a canter, but we've seen enough over the last few years when we have done it and it's blown up in our face.A full stregnth 11 is capable of winning this cup and giving us some longed for silver,so let's not piss about, go down with a strong line up and get through to the next round.
