To me its less about the fact uts "them" more about the chance to get a valuable 3pts and maybe move into the top four.  Although we are doing welli think the partnership they have has the potential to destroy our defence, and although we are keeping clean sheets our defence has looked rocky at times.

On a side note if those redshite bufoons don't think that winning/losing a local Derby is important then they clearly arnt proper fans are they.

Aye, its always our cup final to lose.

I give up long ago trying to get people to stop being so suicidal about the derby

Wasn't it a redshite fan who committed suicide at half time of the CL final against Milan?

If we play to our potential we'll win, because I believe we're a better team than they are. Their two forwards carry them, with some decent performances from Henderson and Gerrard in games.

Barkley and Lukaku (Bukakey) to start, Mirallas too. Although I'd like to see Deulofeu be given the nod.

Someone on here said that Mirallas plays best on the left, which is a good point especially when you remember last year's derby at Goodison, but would you drop Pienaar? Probably not, even though he doesn't seem to play particularly well in big games, offensively.

Could also be a wise decision to bring Naismith back into the fold.

Christ, this Century are our only wins against these the 3-0 AJ mauling, The 1-0 Carsley game, The FA Cup Gosling game and the 2-0 Cahill/Arteta 2010 game?

4 wins in the last 29?

Lots of draws I suppose

Lets sort that record out hey?!

Kind of understand why the misery guts like Sir Stealth and Matty1878 aren't expecting a win!
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

That doesn't help.

Also they're only 1 win behind us in the number of derbies won at Goodison.

Think we've got 40 and they're on 39.

Blarg, d'you wanna just tell us what happens at the end of the derby now and put us out of our misery, so we can all relax and concentrate on other things for the next week and a half?  ;)
