All this bullshit that McCarthy is inevitably destined for a red card is getting out of hand, he's never been sent off in his professional career.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

I'm not sure about you lot?  But, if we play to our full potential aka the first half against Newcastle, we will still have a tough game on our hands. Howard and Barry were the only two players who turned up for the shift yesterday. Maybe that’s a bit unfair on Pienaar  who worked  hard, but was ineffectual. We could have lost by two or three goals yesterday against Crystal Palace!!!  "Yeah Crystal Palace”!  Any repeat of yesterday’s dross?  Will very likely end in a nasty defeat at home from our biggest rivals. Grow a pair Roberto and hit them with an aggressive 442. Gerrard can still play full pelt for an hour or so. Once he’s off the pitch we will have a lot less to deal with. Suarez will have to be marked if he’s not going to affect the result like he undoubtedly can. I’m still hoping for a good result. I Just don’t expect anything if the team from yesterday turn up.
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

They are shite, front two apart.  Unfortunately Rat and Sturridge know where the net is unlike our shot shy front 6.  Can see it being either 1-3 or 1-4 with us down to 9 or 10 men, Mccarthy is a cert to be red carded.

What a load of shite. Where's all this McCarthy red card stuff coming from?

Two weeks to go and we've lost this game before a ball's even been kicked.

He should have been sent off twice already for us, and if he puts one of those challenges in on our lovely neighbours, on the likes of Captain Cockface or The Rat, you can guarantee they'll be rolling around on the floor like they've been shot while whichever biased gobshite running the game won't be able to get a red card out of his arse pocket quick enough

See my answer to Samwise.  If we play remotely like we have done against Palace and Spurs, with a complete lack of tempo, and half the side not turning up, against the shite, we will get torn a new one.  While Moyes might have gone, most of the squad that he's spent the last 10 years making them shit themselves every time we play them, are still there, and Martinez will need to perform a real miracle of psychology to get them out of this mindset.

That's the spirit, positive as ever.

If our fans mindset is anything to go by,he'll need more than a miracle.

there are similarities that I will go into in more detail once I have something confirmed, but Martinez and Royle could have a similar first season in charge at Everton...

Fans mindset doesn't make too much of a difference, there'l be a great atmosphere at the game.  We have a terrible record against these though, they are above us in the league, playing better football and scoring more goals so you would have to say they are favourites

Not impossible for us to get a result, though if I am being honest I expect us to be beaten
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

We could be ten points clear of them, there would still be a suicide watch going here.
