Good on you BWS

As a pessimist I do think you guys will win unfortunately. We do have a strong home record though and have been solid at the back. My 2 worries are where our goals will come from and how we can stop Suarez

Lukaku scoring against you home and away last season does give me a bit of hope. We don't have many attacking players on form at the moment so I fear if Romelu doesn't net for us than no one will
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

Yay for old BWS. Not the most glorious matchday thread thus far!

Just drew with Liverpool 1-1 on FM 2014 with Lukaku and Distin out and Heitinga and Jelavic in.  Obviously that means at full strength we will batter you what with FM being super realistic.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Sturridge is an injury doubt. Can only help

Always makes me chuckle, you get a blue and a red arguing and they wont have a good word to say about each other's team, one side offers an olive branch and gives a little credit, the realism kicks in and 60 seconds later, you'd soon as expect them to be swapping season tickets. :)

It's just too frecking hard to call.  Could have done without this international break as players who played both games may be not having enough recovery time.

Never watched the Uruguay match so can't say how hard Suarez played, even though it was a dead rubber.  And Sturridge could have done without playing seeing as though there were rumours he might have been suffering from an injury. The same goes for Gerrard as he had a niggling injury too.

Only good thing is seeing Everton players also playing in these International matches, so they'd be recovering too.

I just hope both Suarez and Sturridge are playing as that will give the Everton defence something to think about.

It would definitely be a bonus to us if one if them fails to start. Saying that i think the international games have been over played in importance and expect both teams at full strength.

I see where you're coming from.

The way I see it is if both start then maybe Martinez will be less inclined to go on the attack and be a bit more reserved.  We'll see what happens.  The starting line-up should be interesting with all these "will-he/won't-he play such-a-body" floating around.

Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

I think it'll be interesting to see who keeps the possession with the way both teams play.

well Liverpool have averaged the least amount of possession of the current top 8 so I imagine it will be us.

I don't think Liverpool play possession football right now, they are far more direct than they have been. With the players they have it makes sense.
