I think Naismith and Jelavic should both start against Southampton, drop Barkley back alongside McCarthey and drop Mirallas, although he could miss out through illness.

Alcaraz in the side is an enforced change, Mirallas has been shite of late, I think RM would have been better of starting Jelavic after his efforts against Sunderland instead of Naismith, but Naismith has been slagged of in the past and always seems to pop up with a goal. Interesting to see Baines/Oviedo partnership. Keep Lallana and Rodriguez quiet and we can win this.

What a great day and what a way to start the new year, in the top 4 ahead of the shite, yes today was similar to a number of performances so far this season where we have been poor (mainly in halfs) yet still picked up 3 points. To those that are moaning do you want Moyes back - sitting on one goal leads and ending up drawing (KITAP1). Cheer the fuck up and get behind Martinez and the boys, we're only going to get better come the second half of the season and he's bringing back the good times to EFC.
