big, big blow if coleman is out.

never fancy us here and still don't 2-1 defeat I'm afraid.

 It's a night-time derby therefore, we won't lose.

Addition...I've been to 4 Anfjord derbies, won 3 drawn 1.

I can't see him putting Sturridge on the bench BD, not at home. The onus is on them to win it rather than us and seeing as Suarez and Sturridge are probably their best combination anywhere on the pitch it don't think Rodgers will be willing to limit that threat.

Rodgers thinks very highly of his own ability, and is fond of putting square pegs in round holes. He will try and shift his midfield round to counter the loss of Lucas more than split up his front two.

Think Henderson will be shifted over to the right, in part to run up and down with Baines but also so he can stay reasonably central to allow Sturridge to be sort of up front, while nominally lined up on the left of a 4-2-3-1.

It'll be nice to play a big game again. Arsenal was our last real big match and that feels ages ago.

And that is exactly why they're going to lose. Martinez is the master at identifying tactical weaknesses in his opponents and exploiting them.

What makes you think that?

Without trying to get to much into this, I don't feel that Martinez is some tactical genius. I think his strength is in allowing the players to express themselves offensively. We have certainly seen more moments of individual brilliance this season than we ever did under Moyes, but I don't think that has anything to do with exploiting tactical weaknesses.

I'm predicting at least 25 pages on this thread before k.o

More than 60 if we win, and 70+ if we lose or Suarez does something very naughty.

wish me mum was still alive, took her to two derbies, won them both :(  also seven league games, 6 wins 1 draw.
I'm the "trophy husband" from the game my wife regrets playing.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.
