Benteke is back in the goals again. Just in time for when we play them.

Villa are a counter attack team and have got most of their points away from home playing this tactic.

We have to be very cautious and learn from our piss poor performance the other night to ensure that Villa dont do to us exactly what the shite did.

Thats said, Benteke is no Suarez and Agbonlahor <spits> is no Sturridge.

Well as the home team we'd be expected to take the game to villa and dictate play. This could play into their hands.

Understandably but you can still defend well whilst doing this!

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

He's not even ahead of Gueye, based on Tuesday's bench.

Given that if we needed 3 AM subs we were always going to use Naismith, Ossie and McGeady that means Gueye was never under consideration.

If Gueye was never under consideration, how far under is Vellios?!

Yeah, I know. He did the bench recently though didn't he? I haven't seen him play in an age, and what I do recall is rather limited but he must be the closest thing we have to a "target man" sorta CF at the moment. As desperate a shout as that might be.

Barring a late signing who can drop straight in, Martinez has his work cut out this week.

Yeah he was on a couple of bench's.

I'd guess he'll make the bench in Lukaku's absence from the squad - but whether that's enough to elevate him to 3rd sub would be questionable.

I'd be very surprised if that was the case!

Has he even played for the u21s this season?!
