How would him getting behind the scenes at Everton have come about then? Would someone working there shot downstairs and had a word?

Probably one of the better things about Twitter.

Who is the bloke with Martinez in the pic and why is everyone dead pleased about it?

Blessing in disguise the game was called off imo. Id still of expected us to win but it wouldn't have been pretty and by the time it's rearranged we should have Gerard, Lacina and Rom all back in the action up front.

He was in a lounge anyway and tweeted a pic of his ticket, which showed he was in the joe mercer suite. I'm made up for the lad.

Don't know how many he had before but he's at 3959 now.

He's up to 5,327. When I started following he had just under 3,000. I think It's a real nice touch. He must be made up.

I'm not blaming the club as they were taking advice from the Police but for fuck sake if the forecast is for 40 mile an hour winds gusting to 70 then surely you can expect some structural damage to buildings.

I only travel from Manc land so it was a pain in the arse for me but those poor cunts who traveled from London & Sunderland mist be gutted.

I know it's easy to be wise after the event but at 12pm today I posted on here wondering if the game would be called off due to the high winds that were forecast for kick off time. I can't fucking believe the Police didn't call it off earlier as it was clear there was going to be dangerous winds later in the day.

Anyway, I've had my little moan now, I actually think it may have done us a favour as I thought the conditions would have been a great leveler, shame the other results didn't go our way. It also gives us a bit longer to get some proper strikers fit.

 According to this 'questionable' link,

http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/everton-fc-transfer-news/40394-barcelona-tell-everton-to-keep-loan-star.php#.UvwBnWpFAdU

Deulofeu joined Everton last summer on a one-year loan deal and has impressed under the guidance of Spanish boss Roberto Martinez. However, injury has stalled his start to 2014, seeing him miss the whole of January and that has led Barcelona to re-think his availability for next season, prompting them to allow Everton the option to keep Deulofeu for another year.

Italian side AC Milan are also interested and although that move would offer the young Spaniard possible European football next season, Barca are keen to keep Deulofeu under the management of Martinez.

Talks about the deal will commence at the end of the season with Barca also keen to discuss the possibility of Isaac Cuenca to follow Deulofeu on loan.

Cuenca has fallen out of favour under Barca coach Tata Martino and has previously been out on loan to Ajax.

You can take that to the bank.
