Was just looking at the forecast and it says 40 mile an hour winds at 8pm tonight.

Even if it's not called off for safety reasons maybe it should for footy reasons, that's going to be one shite game in that kind of wind. 

Pulis has just hit fully erect hearing this news.

Yeah, when you consider the distance the away fans in both Palace and Sunderland's case had travelled. You'd think they could have got a fairly accurate weather situation about 3pm? It's the right decision from a safety point of view but ironically the message is not to travel in the area, yet there are 30-40k fans all out in this weather because the decision wasn't made earlier.

People would have just moaned that it was getting called off to early at 3.

They played it right in my opinion.
