I went with McCarthy for MOM although I thought Stones had a great game. I forgot he was playing which is a very good thing for a young Centre Back playing against then awkward pair of bastards Carroll and Nolan. Distin stood up to them well also.
I was listening to Martinez on the radio and he reckoned we were creating chances, initially I though that was bollocks as we has loads of possession but then I couldn't remember their keeper making in a save in the 1st half, apart for Naismith's angled shot that even I would have saved, not a criticism as it was from a tight angle.
But then we did have 3 chances at the Gwladys St end in the 2nd half where we hit the post, in fact those 3 chances where pretty much the same move with Pienaar going close. So if my dodgy memory serves me right we scored 1 goal from 4 good chances.
Is that really enough?
