If we grinded out eleven 1-0 results between now and the end of the season, all scored in the latter stages of games, would you complain?
I don't think anyone would no.
It's more that, as RM likes to state, it is performances that guarantee you results in the long term.
If we were to struggle to 1-0 wins over Cardiff and Swansea then the table will look good/better but would they be an indication that we're likely to win some of the big home games coming up or start winning some away games again?
You'd have to say no.
Of course they could be the confidence boosting wins that propel us to better form so they shouldn't be sniffed at in any case but they wouldn't provide much evidence or hope that we'd win the next 9 games 1-0 given that there'll be much tougher opposition in those 9 games.
